OBJECTIVE

HLR has conducted various right-of-way surveys in various counties for land acquisition on a work order basis with the assistance of one subconsultant. The surveys include monument reconnaissance, establishing the existing right-of-way, preparing Plats of Highways for proposed right-of-way and easements, writing legal descriptions, and staking proposed right-of-way and section corner monuments. Some of our projects are listed below.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Some of our projects are listed below:


IL Route 53/68 at U.S. 12

Prepared the Plat of Highways and legal descriptions for eight acquisitions and fifteen temporary easements for commercial properties on Dundee Road from Rand Road to Kennedy Drive.


IL Route 25 at Congdon Avenue

Prepared an existing right-of-way plat for the intersection.


IL Route 31 at Silver Glen Road

Prepared the Plat of Highways and legal descriptions for nine parcels at this intersection.  Acquisition included proposed right-of-way and temporary easements required to make this a signalized intersection.


IL Route 59 at U.S. Route 20

Prepared the Plat of Highways and legal descriptions for approximately 20 parcels.  Acquisition included proposed right-of-way, temporary easements, and access control for the re-designed interchange.


IL Route 58 at Wolf Road

Prepared the Plat of Highways and legal descriptions for 19 parcels at this roundabout intersection.  Acquisition included proposed right-of-way and temporary easements.


IL Route 38 (IL Route 25 to Kirk Road)

Prepared the Plat of Highways and legal descriptions for approximately 70 parcels with the assistance of our subconsultant.  Acquisition included proposed right-of-way and temporary easements in this original area of Geneva with subdivisions and metes and bounds descriptions.
