Resurfacing Program

Village of Oak Park

OBJECTIVE

HLR provided construction engineering for the Village of Oak Park’s 2017 Street Resurfacing Program. The program was designed to target the most critical roadways and drainage areas in the community.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

HLR assisted with pre- and post-construction activities including coordination meetings, punch list preparation, and preparation of project records. Once construction was underway, our Resident Engineer was on site full time to coordinate with the Village and contractors regarding necessary field changes and to monitor the project. Additional services provided included detailed documentation of quantities and materials as well as review of contractor RFIs and pay requests. The
