Vice President

Steve Megginson serves as Project Manager for local and state transportation and structural projects throughout Illinois. Since 1989, he has gained invaluable experience and has progressed from a hydraulic and structural design engineer to his present role as a Vice President.

Steve is currently responsible for leading all of our IDOT, Tollway, and local agency bridge projects as well as the growth and performance of HLR’s structural department. Through his practical approach to design and project management, Steve works closely with our clients to deliver quality projects with a high level of service.

Steve also serves as program manager for NBIS bridge safety inspections and condition evaluations for local agencies. He is known for his integrity, work ethic, and undivided commitment to the public. He takes his time to thoroughly understand a project, then searches for cost-effective innovative solutions.
